Pearl Of Africa Series Gets Some Help From Orleans Little League

Orleans Little League Baseball (OLLB) is on the baseball field in January!

The field happens to be in Mpigi, Uganda. In cooperation with the Pearl of Africa series, OLLB has generously donated the time and resources of one of their members to travel to the ball field in Uganda and provide some labour and on field instruction for the Uganda Little League.

Mr Chuck Dufton, the OLLB Umpire Consultant will travel to Uganda in January 2012 to assist the Uganda Little League by providing some baseball instruction and a series of umpire clinics.

Congratulations to the East Nepean Eagles (D2) 2011 Ontario Minor Champions!

Congrats to the East Nepean Eagles on winning the 2011 Minor Ontario Championship by beating Oakville 6 - 0.


Thank you to all the volunteers, parents, and players from all participating teams for making this tournament a huge success!

CRLL Major Aces are 2011 District 6 Champions

CASSELMAN – The Carleton Russell Major Aces have been crowned 2011 District 6 Champions by beating the South Ottawa Blues in Thursday’s final 7-3.

The Aces took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the 2nd inning on an inside the park homerun by starting pitcher Justin Emond. The Blues answered with 2 runs in the bottom portion of the second to take a 2-1 lead.
