Orleans Little League Baseball (OLLB) is on the baseball field in January!
The field happens to be in Mpigi, Uganda. In cooperation with the Pearl of Africa series, OLLB has generously donated the time and resources of one of their members to travel to the ball field in Uganda and provide some labour and on field instruction for the Uganda Little League.
Mr Chuck Dufton, the OLLB Umpire Consultant will travel to Uganda in January 2012 to assist the Uganda Little League by providing some baseball instruction and a series of umpire clinics.
Congrats to the East Nepean Eagles on winning the 2011 Minor Ontario Championship by beating Oakville 6 - 0.
Thank you to all the volunteers, parents, and players from all participating teams for making this tournament a huge success!
CASSELMAN – The Carleton Russell Major Aces have been crowned 2011 District 6 Champions by beating the South Ottawa Blues in Thursday’s final 7-3.
The Aces took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the 2nd inning on an inside the park homerun by starting pitcher Justin Emond. The Blues answered with 2 runs in the bottom portion of the second to take a 2-1 lead.

Once again Al Herback, the Canadian Little League National Coach will be in Ottawa on April 20th and 21st to hold his Teaching for Tomorrow coaches clinics. See the attached forms below for more details.
Now that Gloucester Little League has folded District Six needed to change the boundaries for the remaining leagues.
